The idea behind this blog and our postings is to create a platform for discussion of issues confronting biotech patent attorneys and agents. We’ll also share patents and applications that we find particularly curious. Our goal is to recreate in this blog the passionate discussions we generate (and fuel) around the water cooler at Swanson & Bratschun. These discussions make us better patent attorneys – the greater our knowledge about our clients’ rights, the more capably and ardently we defend them. Kathy and I hope you find yourself here regularly, participating in discussions and providing your own insight on the topic of the day. Look for our posts once a week, every Wednesday, or subscribe to the RSS feed to get the posts automatically. Other than Wednesday posts, you will hear from us when we think it’s necessary for our readers to get certain information before the next Wednesday post date.
